Rated as the world’s highest gorge swing, this activity will have your adrenalin pumping! Located at Lehr’s Falls in Oribi Gorge in the southern part of Kwazulu-Natal. This bridge swing is more a drop off the edge with a jaw-dropping 55 storey high drop. You reach speeds in excess of 120km/h!

If you enjoy the rush of extreme activities, this is a “not to be missed” bucket-list activity. We will take you to the edge and bump you off for the joy ride of a lifetime! This activity is about an hours drive from our dive centre.

Typical Day Tour At Oribi Gorge

We get together around 7 AM and drive to Oribi Gorge where we for breakfast and coffee (optional before or after).

When you have mustered the courage we make our way to the drop site. The professional operators have been running this facility for many years safely.

We then do the swings, a piece of cake. Then depending on plans, we make our way back to the dive centre. Total time spent is around 6 hours.

What To Bring

We have mostly predictable conditions so we will be able to see what we need to pack for the day. Pack some warm clothing in case weather conditions change. Also, bring a hat for the harsh South African sun and at least a factor 30 skin protection.

Pack your camera to capture any moments at the Oribi Gorge. Walking or hiking boots are needed for this activity.

Other Tour Options

This add-on activity can be combined with river rafting and/or a trail walk. The river rafting offers an action-packed afternoon adventure to top off an already amazing bridge swing.

If you feel like a scenic walk then the gorge offers incredible sights with dramatic rocky cliffs that rise up from the river valley below.
